Proposal
Horse chestnut (T1): Height, 17m. DBH, 82cm. Tree has bracket fungus at base that is probably Rigidoporus ulmarius, which causes brown rot in the base and buttresses of it's host. The tree is growing close to an old boundary wall that will, in time, be damaged by it. Because horse chestnut leaves are large, the tree casts a very deep shade over the gardens of both the Thames Eyot flats and adjacent properties. The works to be carried out are to dismantle and fell the tree, replanting with a smaller species such as an ornamental cherry.
