Planning application

Gamekeepers Cottage Bushy Park Teddington TW11 0EQ

Granted Richmond upon Thames 23/T0111/TCA Works to Tree/s in Conservation Area

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

as per TWO 01FX attached: All trees are in the private garden of the Keepers Cottage. The woodland gardens around the cottage are currently being restored, with an accent on the removal of non-native species such as rhododendron. The Lawsons Cypress 14KH and Leylandii hedge 14KK identified here are to be felled are species inconsistent with the predominantly native planting of the Woodland Gardens. Planting of native species is currently underway throughout the woodland gardens as part of its restoration and improvement. Additionally, 14KK is a grown-out hedge feature which is very close to a building and may damage the foundations in due course.
