Proposal

This application relates to the installation of the 2 new staircases to enable escape from Nationwide in emergency. At First and Second floors, alterations to existing windows to form new exit doors onto new stairs and to block off remainder of existing window. At Ground, First and Second floors, new glazing to retained windows (see plans for locations, 1 window at each level) to provide required fire rating, due to proximity to new escape stairs. At First floor roof level, changes to existing guarding and new guarding to reflect new stair locations and MOE Keep clear routes.
