There is a small ash tree that is in the roadside hedge on Wray common road. Earlier in the year I discussed with the owner signs of ash dieback and to come back early in 2024 to check on its condition. Last week a drunk driver crashed into the hedge at the base of the tree. The fence is in the middle of the hedge and now needs replacing. The ash tree has grown through the hedge and is punching the fence over. The tree and part of the hedge must be removed to allow the broken fence to be replaced.
