T1 Pine, we would like to reduce the height by around 3M like the photo below to a reasonable growth point and reduce the one side branch that sticks out from the canopy. these works are to insure the safety of the house and family. by doing these works it will take out some of the sail area and leverage when there are strong gusts.

The trees are situated in the rear garden of The Vicarage, Woodland way but overhang the garden of Warren House causing significant shading to the property and garden and damaging the grass making it very difficult to use the back garden and enjoy the grass area. Our client likes the trees and would like to reduce the Oak tree T1 by 1.5m to create a well shaped and balanced crown and thin the canopy by 15% to allow more dappled light into the garden and property. The Ash tree T2 is causing the same problem as the Oak tree T1 and we would like to reduce by 1.5-2m all round back to healthy growth points to allow more light and less debris dropping into Warren House garden. All work will be compliant with BS3998 standards.

The aim of the reduction is to minimise the chance of failure and to keep the tree maintained at a reasonable size before a more drastic reduction may be needed in the future. There is a poor V-shaped union between two co-dominant stems, which the reduction will reduce tip weight and minimise sail. The reduction will also aim to maintain a natural looking tree, pruning to appropriate growth points. T2: Lime (rear garden, right tree) - Reduce height of canopy by 3m and laterals reduce by 2m to appropriate growth points, following BS3998 standards. Epicormic growth to be removed from the main stem. The aim of the reduction is to keep the tree managed and to reduce the risk of failure. The tree has been lifted to 60% of its height, canopy starting at 11m. The reduction will lessen the sail, whilst keeping the tree maintained at reasonable points before a more drastic reduction is required in the future. The reduction will also aim to create a more visually appealing shape, whilst maintaining a natural looking tree. All major deadwood of 25mm in diameter or larger to be removed from both trees.
