Large vertical tear in upper eastern canopy (approximately 2 metres long and half a metre wide) on a predominant stem with a heavy lean to the north. Several wood pecker holes on internal stems at approximately 8 metres. Various historic tears throughout crown. Large over extended limb to the south east with historic tear at approximately 5 metres from main union. I recommend a partial Crown Reduction. Reducing the height and spread of the stem in the eastern canopy with recent tear by up to 1.5 metres and reducing the large limb to the south east by 1.5 - 2 metres. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth. Inspection carried out from ground level using and acoustic mallet and metal probe.22x20m down to 22x18m works to prevent further failure of limbs
