81 Wilford Crescent West Nottingham Nottingham City NG2 2FT
Felling of the tree - a Whitebeam - The reasons for wanting to fell the tree are numerous: Low amenity value of the tree - the attached report categorised it as being of "low quality and value"; nuisance and mess caused by nesting birds; impact on the cars that have to be parked below it - from birds, falling branches, sap etc.; close proximity to neighbouring houses - meaning at the very least that a reasonable amount of pruning is now required and will obviously be a job (and financial burden) that will recur in the future; the close proximity is also a worry in terms of potential root damage to the structure of the building; the tree also overshadows both the house and front garden making it difficult to grow anything else in the garden - with the tree gone it would be replaced with smaller scale planting similar to the abundance witnessed in the rear garden of this property.
