Proposal

Removal of Holly tree (H1) to boundary between adjoining property (19) in front garden, to be replaced with a planting scheme of dwarf fruit trees (1no or 2no depending on space requirements and availability), and fruit bushes / shrubs (raspberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants). The tree is blocking light to both properties and the new scheme will allow more light in to both properties, whilst still providing habitat for wildlife. No TPO on the Holly tree.

    The holly tree is at the left hand side of the property, when looking at it from the pavement on Shirley Road. It is a few metres behind the large wooden gates at the top of the driveway. The tree is currently taller than the house (3 storey house). We are proposing to reduce the height of the tree by half (approximatley 4-5m). The tree is the only one in that location.
