It is proposed to reduce the crown on each tree, singling each tree to a single leading shoot and reducing in height from 12m to 8.5m and reducing radial spread from 4m to 3m. T4 Scots pine: This semi-mature pine has a leaning stem and suppresses a promising young beech tree. It is proposed to remove the pine and encourage the beech to develop fully through formative pruning.
