Proposal
T1 - Pine Tree - Complete felling and removal of the mature to ground level, including the safe dismantling and controlled lowering of the trunk and branches to prevent damage to neighbouring properties, garden areas, cemetery grounds, headstones and monuments. All resulting timber, branches and associated arisings are to be removed from site, with the works undertaken by a suitably qualified and insured professional tree surgeon in accordance with BS 3998:2010 - Tree Work Recommendations. Reason for Works: The tree is of substantial height and maturity, with its canopy extending over the private residential garden and adjoining cemetery. Concerns relate to the potential failure of large branches, presenting a risk of injury to residents, particularly children using the garden, and potential damage to neighbouring cemetery monuments and structures. The proposed removal is sought on grounds of safety and the prevention of property damage. Replacement Planting: The applicant proposes to plant a suitable replacement tree within the property grounds, of an appropriate species and location, to maintain the local landscape character and amenity value.
