Street Record Chapelside Avenue Airdrie North Lanarkshire

Awaiting decision North Lanarkshire 26/00235/LDP2 Call for Sites and Ideas

Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.

Proposal

Affordable indoor multi-use recreational facilities for people of all ages and walks of life to be able to go to and enjoy e.g. with a roller skate rink, volleyball pitch, table tennis tables, café, and canteen offering regional + traditional food, Spa facilities (hydrotherapy like saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs.) Something for everyone but built into the green space/woodland but without the commercialisation (as in no shopping centre please). Somewhere indoor to relax and re-energise and have fun. So a combination of green space, recreation and for physical + mental well-being :) maybe even with a multi use hall added that can be let out for dance classes/art classes, talks and seminars, art exhibitions.
