Proposal
As per your visit of 27.7.21 we would like to carry out the below. Lime trees at 17 Welhome Road: reduce canopy encroachment over garden, of 41 Abbey Park Road, to 2m from boundary wall, in line with concrete apron. Birch tree front boundary 41 Abbey park Road: prune to create 0.5m clearance to BT cables, removing secondary and tertiary branches. Reduce canopy spread over adopted highway and driveway to secondary growth point at approximately 1.5m from base of tree. Inside front garden boundary - prune trees and bushes to reduce canopy over front garden parking area All photos supplied in previous email

Japanese cherry blossom tree - to be felled. Majority of branches lean over street and road. Assessed by tree surgeon and a lot of dying and decaying branches. To be replaced by standard blossoming cherry tree two to three metres to the left in a more central position and a smaller tree but still providing blossom and fruiting for wildlife. Beech tree - in central front garden border. Tree to be felled. Causing damage to garden walls and driveway. Tree larger than the house and blocking light to both this house and neighbours. Main trunk has divided into two and then further main branches and appears unstable in high winds. Branches fall off daily and are becoming larger. Complaints from neighbours at length of branches - touching windows/blocking light. Leaves cause blockages on roof and in downpipes from roof in winter and wet weather. Leaves blocking drainage in garden. Leaves causing slippery pedestrian pathways on street and driveway in winter and wet weather. Part of main trunk to remain and used as a carved feature piece.
