Planning application

36 St Augustine Avenue Grimsby North East Lincolnshire DN32 0LD

Granted North East Lincolnshire DC/679/12/PAR Works to a tree in a Conservation Area

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

The first tree is situated outside my front door and i believe it to already be dead,I've had to cut some branches down already because of the safety of people coming in and out of my house,i believe it died 2 winters ago in that really bad weather we had and it hasn't blossomed in either of the following springs and we have had some branches breaking off.The second tree is in my side garden bordering with a neighbour on park drive, he's been round to my house a couple of times complaining about the size of the tree and how it cuts out allot of light from his garden and the bird mess being deposited on his patio and gazebo, the tree is a problem to myself as it cuts allot of light out from my kitchen and upstairs bedrooms and it is also hindering the growth of the tree next to it.

Whilst previous approved application (DM/0293/21/TCA) was being implemented the tree surgeon completing the work found the remaining cherry trees to be in poor health and has recommended felling these trees as well. This application is to conduct remedial work to the remaining cherry trees in the back garden with potential for complete removal of the trees. Trees identified as 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the attached photographs. Other trees in the garden include: bay, apple, pear, plum, acer, ginkgo and magnolia
