Proposal
A large dead oak tree on the border between our house and a neighbours (they are in Pyllmeyric Close). Branches (dead) extend into both gardens some distance. Extremely close to telephone lines and greenhouse. Close enough to house to potentially cause some damage if it fell over.

About this record
Reading the register
This page mirrors an entry on the statutory planning register that Monmouthshire is required to keep. The published feed for this record does not state which type of application it is, which is common for older entries and for some council systems; the register entry on the council portal will say, alongside the case officer and any consultation dates.
Every planning application follows the same broad path: submission, validation, publicity, then a decision by officers or committee. Our guide to planning application types explains the common types and what each can approve.

We would like to prune the branches of a the Yew tree on our property which is subject to a TPO (Tree Preservation Order No.3, Pwllmeyric, First Schedule T6 with situation grid reference 51979257). This tree is located on our property but overhangs the public pavement and A48 road underneath. This is a busy road with pedestrians and traffic so we are concerned about the overhang and would like to cut this back to our property boundary.
