Proposal

The maintenance of the exterior of the building limited to the external elevations of the building and will include the following: Removal and replacement of roof covering to match existing. Render repairs and decorative works. Repairs to cracked joints on coping stones. Replacement of water-stained tiles. Repair and redecoration of windows. Replacement of a roof light. Repairs and redecoration of soffits and fascias. Cleaning of external staircase, installation of anti-slip GRP stair treads, application of anti-slip paint to mid-landing, and repair and redecoration of the handrail.

    Refurbishment works that include a comprehensive replacement and repair plan for several key structural elements of the bridge. This includes the replacement of all hangars and cross girders. Removing tensioning bars previously installed to strengthen hangars. Localised repairs to the steel troughing and cross bracing, with replacement of elements on a like-for-like basis where required.
