Granted Monmouthshire DM/2025/01171 Works to trees in a Con Area

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within five years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

Sweet chestnut tree in the back garden of Yew Tree Cottage, postcode NP16 6JH. The tree is large and unmanageable and is growing very close to the boundary line as well as buildings, it is located in an unsuitable location, for this reason it cannot be TPO listed. The Tree officer has been to the site and has recommended a reduction in crown height by 30%, as well as any branches overhanging the boundary line of 5 Birdwood Gardens to be cut back.
