In addition, remove all deadwood throughout the crown (CH05). The proposed works include approximately 20% crown thinning of each Elder tree through the removal of dead and crossing branches. Cherry Trees (CH02 & CH03) Remove two entire branches from each, previously coppiced, Cherry tree: one branch growing into the perimeter wall to provide approximately 1.0 metre clearance from the wall (CH02), and one low-growing branch extending over the lawn to provide clearance for lawn maintenance (CH03). The removal of these branches will constitute approximately 20% crown thinning of each Cherry tree.
