4 x Oak (Quercus robur) trees tag numbers 1450, 0841, 0842, 0843- All of these trees have significant armillaria basal decay (Honey Fungus) and canopy dieback symptoms indicative of the disease. Sycamore tree (Acer psuedoplatanus) (tag number 1461) requires epicormic growth at base removing to approx 1 metre to prevent encroachment onto highway and aid future inspection. Exempt works - Two further trees mature Cedar (Cedrus libani - tag number 1459) and Sycamore (Acer psuedoplatanus tag number 1461) require deadwood removal throughout canopy. Propose to replant 2 x small stature 10-12cm select standard ornamental trees (1x Corylus colurna and 1x Cornus mas) in available locations nearby- please refer to tree replanting plan.
