Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Notification of Works to Trees in a Conservation Area - Removal of 1no silver birch tree (T1) down to ground level with stump ground out - works to be carried out by qualified tree surgeon. Tree is located in rear garden of the property.Justification: The tree was only planted when the development was built (circa 2014). The tree is very large for the space it is within and is very close to a neighbouring property, causing overshadowing. The roots are extensive and have caused damaged to gravel boards below fence panels. Maintenance is a lot of work and therefore smaller, more manageable planting will be undertaken in its place.
