REAR: TWO Holly trees (T1, T2) Height: 13m. HEIGHT REDUCTION by 6m from 13m to 7m due to previous ivy removal/damage. ONE Bay tree (T3) Height: 16m, Spread: 18m. CROWN REDUCTION BY 3M from 16m to 13m in height and 12m in spread due to significant die back of the canopy and extensive fissures on main stem. ONE Elder tree (T4) Height: 8m. HEIGHT REDUCTION by 2m from 8m to 6m back to fence line due to neighbouring complaints/leaf dropping in the winter. ONE Lime tree (T5) Height: 24m, Spread: 18m. POLLARDING back to previous pollarded points at height 13m & 4m crown spread due to neighbouring light & leaf drop complaints and scheduled tree management. ONE Pine tree (T6) Height: 13m. CROWN REDUCTION by 3m from 9m to 6m back to fence line where appropriate due to neighbouring concerns on pine cones falling on residents/small children. Informative A: The sensitive management of the trees is greatly appreciated for landscape amenity, wildlife, wellbeing, and urban forest canopy for environmental benefits to mitigate the effects of climate change. Informative B: Wherever possible, please create habitat log piles in the garden from cut branches for wildlife and biodiversity

REAR: ONE Oak (T1)(ht.7m)(spread.15m) FELL. Reason: neighbour complains regarding light issues, tree previously reduced, further reduction detrimental to tree, proposed fell and replace with another oak. Surrounding trees being retained include Holly, 2x Lime & Apple. All similar height and spread. The oak tree (T1) has been recently reduced in size away from the neighbouring garden (ref. 6-wk notice DC/25/140264), the neighbour is not happy with the reduction and is asking for a further reduction. The tree owner is concerned that this will damage the tree significantly and has requested a fell with replanting with a younger oak tree. Informative A: thank you for retaining the other rear trees for amenity, wildlife and shade to reduce high temperatures in increasingly hot summers due to the changing climate. Informative B: huge thank you also for the proposed replacement oak tree to restore the green screen and urban forest canopy for rear amenity, wildlife and environmental benefits, suggest plant the replacement tree away from the rear boundary for a long-term sustainable position. Informative C: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
