Informative: replacement tree planting is noted with thanks. An ultimately large canopy tree would be a most welcome inclusion to ensure the urban tree canopy is maintained to provide ecosystem services including wildlife habitat, air pollution reduction and climate change mitigation. Many of the boroughs larger trees are located at the ends of rear gardens where there is space distant from property and outbuildings for these trees to develop and mature.
