The landowner is keen to remove a declining Rowan tree at the front of the property, as it is near a road and footpath she's worried she is liable for any damages that occur if it were to fail. I am suggesting reducing the canopy by approximately 15-20% to clear overhead wires and manage growth, pruning back to suitable lateral growth points while maintaining its natural shape. The client tells me this work has been done several times before so you should have this in your records. I have highlighted the positions of the trees on a satellite image taken, with the red cross indicating the Rowan tree we're requesting to remove, and the blue circles showing the 2 Copper Beech trees and the Hawthorn we're wanting to prune.
