Planning application
Central Village Leeds Woodhouse Lane Woodhouse Leeds LS2 3AB
Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T339 White Willow: Ganoderma brackets observed on three sides of the tree. One further bracket observed at 1m suggesting significant breakdown of the internal wood structure. Expansion cracking around all aspects of the stem suggesting shell wall strain. Given the volume of brackets and the species susceptibility to rapid decay. Retention is current form is not considered viable. Potential to reduce to 3m if retention is important. At this height a failure would be constrained to the lawn.
