T1497 Opposite the Old Bar Maple (TPO1992_011): Union 5m has failed with the wound facing away from the public space. There now appears to be a crack forming between the two remaining limbs which overhang the footpath. Reduce limbs to below union. Remaining 0.5m of the stem should be retained to prevent a large pruning wound close to the main union bowl. LCC OFFICER NOTE: T1497: Crown reduce by up to 2 metres in height, and up to 1.5 metres at west aspect. Due to history of union failure and potential exposure over high confluence area.
