Planning application

Hazel Lea Pool Road Otley LS21 1EQ

Granted Leeds 25/06564/TR Tree Works

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T1 Swamp Cypress or Dawn Redwood - We would like to take the tree down to the base and remove it (but not de-stump). The tree has become very large (now exceeding the height of the house). It is growing behind/on top of a retaining wall which holds back our front garden from Pool Road and is leaning towards the road.

T1 Ash- Tree is suffering with advanced Ash dieback throughout the crown and has started to drop small branches, there is also a felling cut in the bottom of the stem (done prior to TPO), we propose to remove the tree and re plant with a new standard Beech tree but slightly further in the garden.
