Planning application

14 - 15 London Street Rawdon Leeds LS19 6BT

Granted Leeds 24/06099/TR Tree Works

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T1 Larch (in the back left corner): Reduce crown all round by 2-3 meters to rebalance and reshape, mitigating against heavily weighted branches and to reduce the risk of failure in bad weather as they have had a few branches fail in the past. Also where the branches are encroaching neighbouring properties on the south side of the canopy, within the crown reduction these branches will be getting pruned away from the houses by 3 meters.

There is only one large tree in my garden. I will get a tree surgeon to do the works rather than doing it myself. It is not a main branch, just a thin one that has sagged/growing downwards and will soon be at head height. I can provide photos of the tree and the branch in question.
