The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About full applications applications
How this application type works
A full application seeks permission for a complete, detailed proposal in one go: siting, design, access and landscaping are all fixed at this stage. It is the standard route for new buildings, conversions and changes of use. The statutory target is eight weeks for smaller schemes and thirteen weeks for major development, though complex cases often take longer by agreement.

T1 single multi-stemmed conifer in the rear garden - Crown reduction tree is approximately 20 m high with a current crown spread of about 7/8 m (around 3.5/4 m radius). Carry out a crown reduction to a final height of about 9/10 m, in line with BS 3998:2010 Recommendations for Tree Work: Shorten upper crown branches back to suitable secondary branches so that the final height is around 9/10 m. Reduce the lateral spread all round by about 1/2 m, giving a final spread of roughly 5/6 m. Retain an even, balanced crown; no heavy topping cuts. Avoid cutting into main stems unless needed to keep the tree structurally stable. Remove dead, dying, damaged or rubbing branches as part of the work.
