Split decision Leeds 24/05201/TR Tree Works

Works: Trees

Part of this application was approved and part refused. The decision notice on the council portal sets out which is which.

Proposal

T1 Large Horse Chestnut: Remove Suggestion is to monolith the tree (remove the bulk of the tree but leave a single stem for habitat) or complete dismantle to ground level. Failing this, complete removal. T2 Small Cherry: 1.5-meter prune on Eastern aspect to reduce overhang. T3 Hawthorn: 3-meter reduction to reduce overhang on neighbours side. South/west aspect. T4 Sycamore: Remove large 3meter limb going towards neighbours building (Eastern aspect). Light 1-meter all-round reduction to rebalance canopy. Sever ivy to reduce windsail and competition for light and nutrients.
