Planning application
24/05127/TR
8 Hollin Drive Weetwood Leeds LS16 5NE
Proposal
T1 Chestnut - Due to recent storm damage one of the major limbs has been blown out leaving a secondary upper limb which has left the top unbalanced. To remove the secondary limb down to the lower horizontal side limb to balance the upper crown this will be a 5-6m reduction. Also to remove damaged limbs from the upper limb failure. Reasons: to maintain a safe and balanced upper crown due to storm damage.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
