Proposal

Notification under Section 211 for works to trees in a conservation area comprising Cherry (Prunus Avium) - Fell, remove and replace. Tree displays very poor form, forking from the base with a weak fork union and lesions on the main stem. Signs of dieback in the crown. Positioned adjacent to the wall which forms the boundary of the cemetery. A surface root extends towards this important wall and is in danger of compromising the stability of the wall. The above defects of the tree if allowed to grow further it may become hazardous. Replacement ornamental cherry to be planted as a standard tree, staked, tied and maintained including keeping the tree in a weed free condition and formative pruning to ensure the tree develops into a well formed specimen
