A mature ash tree at the rear of the garden has been diagnosed with early-stage Ash Dieback. Minor branch loss has occurred during high winds, raising concerns about safety due to its elevated position. Permission is sought to reduce the crown to mitigate risk while retaining the tree where possible. If removal becomes necessary, a suitable replacement tree will be planted. Updated works, clarified over email. "Firstly, I wish to confirm that we do not want to fell the tree. We are requesting permission to reduce the size of the tree's crown with a maximum reduction of up to 1.5 metres all round"
