The project involves the full & comprehensive refurbishment of the dual pitch roofscape, parapets, dormers and facades of No's 32-34 Posterngate, Hull - (Grade I Listed). Defective slate coverings together with defective roof battens and potential defective structural timbers are all to be carefully removed in a phased refurbishment sequence across the front and rear pitches of all three properties. Defective materials will be replaced with matching quality replacements. The re-roof will include the introduction of a high performance roofing membrane to further protect the building fabric. Defective lead flashings to wall/roof/dormer windows/parapets will all be replaced in accordance with the approved lead sheet manuals. Defective timber & cast guttering and fall pipes (including fixings & sprockets) will be replaced to match existing.
