Ashcroft House Cuckoo Road Stow Bridge King's Lynn Norfolk PE34 3NY

2/TPO/00354: T1 Sycamore Tree - Proposed Crown Lift and reduction. The owner of the tree has recieved complaints from their neighbour at Cuckoo Nest in regards to deadwood falling into their driveway. The owner has also stated low hanging branches from this tree are an obstruction to her own driveway. The height of the tree is also a concern and she would like it to be reduced in height to ensure the tree can be kept healthy and manageable without posing a risk to both her property and her neighbours property. We would like permission to crown lift to remove low hanging branches and reduce the tree in height and shape up for reasons given above. We have given best practice advice for these works to be carried out while the tree is dormant in the winter months to ensure the tree stays healthy

2/TPO/00237: T1 Horse Chestnut Tree - Clearly showing signs of sereve decay, due to recent storms, a large main limb has broken off as shown in photos. Main stem is hollowing as shown in photos. We have been asked to remove the hazardous damaged limb which has broken off and ensure the tree is in a safe state due to the close proximity to property and the road and power lines and bt lines as shown in photos. We would also request permission to remove this tree and replant a horse chestnut in its place as the trees health is in decline due to decay and our advice would be to remove to prevent further risk. However our main objective for immediate action is to reduce the tree to a safe height.
