Proposal
Internal alterations to a top-floor studio flat, part retrospective. Works comprise: replacement floor finish (engineered board on an acoustic overlay laid over the retained existing floorboards); reconfiguration of the bathroom within its existing footprint, with the bath replaced by a walk-in shower on the existing drainage and the WC and basin retained in position; a new half-height stud return and units to the kitchen; built-in wardrobe, storage and fridge cupboards, and a lined recess wall, all in timber stud and MDF; new non-structural stud partitions; and general re-wiring and re-servicing. Outstanding finishing works: kitchen worktop and tiling, bathroom tiling and basin mixer, a ventilation grille to the kitchen, plastering, making good and decoration. All works are internal, non-structural, and make no change to the exterior, roof or windows.
