1. Subject of Application: 1.1. Lime (Tilia x europaea). Identified as 'A' on the sketch plan, 007.jpg. This consists of four stems arising from ground level. It is not possible to acertain the number of root systems. For the purpose of description in this application, all four stems and the total associated growth is interpreted as a single tree. 2. Proposed Works: 2.1. Remove lower branches up to a height of approximately 18 feet above ground level¹. 2.2. Reduce the remaining crown to leave approximately 20 feet in width, all around². 2.4. The subsequent growth in height not disturbed. 3. Reason for Proposed Works: 3.1. The tree is encroaching excessively on nearby trees, bushes and plants and on the building and walking areas.
