Proposal
St Paul's Steiner School (various locations on site boundary) (TPO ref: TPO 326/2007) (T1) Lime - Fell to ground level (see attached Picus test results). Tree to be replaced with 18-20cm girth Silver Lime. (T4) Horse Chestnut - Fell to ground level. Tree in Moribund condition, Large areas of dysfunctional tissue visible on stem, approximately 40% of canopy dead. Tree to be replaced with ornamental tree of minimum 12-14cm girth. Species to be confirmed. (T6) Lime - Reduce height and spread by a maximum of 5m, no final cut to exceed 50mm in diameter. The final height of the tree will be 11-12m, radial canopy spread around 2.5m The canopy has previously been reduced and the reasons for the pruning are in line with good Arboricultural practice. (T7) Horse Chestnut - Fell to ground level. Tree has large strip of dysfunctional tissue on lower stem and cavities at crown break of 4m. Canopy displaying low vitality throughout. Tree to be replaced with 18-20cm girth Silver Lime. (T11) Lime - Reduce Regrowth to most recent reduction points. Approx. 2.5m, no cut to exceed 40mm in diameter. The final height of the tree will be 7-8m, radial canopy spread around 1.5m.The canopy has previously been reduced and the reasons for the pruning are in line with good Arboricultural practice. (T13) Horse Chestnut - Fell to ground level (see attached Picus results). Tree to be replaced with 18-20cm girth Silver Lime. (T14) Sycamore - Fell to ground level. Multiple decaying cavities present in crown structure. No pruning options available to safely retain tree. Tree to be replaced with ornamental tree of minimum 12-14cm girth (species to be confirmed). (T15) Sycamore - Fell to ground level - Decaying cavity at ground level probed to 40cm. No pruning options available to safely retain tree. Tree to be replaced with 18-20cm girth Silver Lime.
