Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T1; Sycamore - Remove. Reason: Safety. T2; English oak - Reduce the extended mid crown limbs towards the driveway by approx 3m back to large sound growth positions. Reason: Safety. T3; Beech - Remove the longest extending 3-4 secondary limbs to reduce weight from large mid crown limb heavily extending over the driveway. Reason: Safety. T4 & T5; 2x Beech - Remove. Reason: Both trees are infected with Meripilis giganteus (particularly T4) indicating severe lower root rot and susceptible to wind throw. T6; Eucalyptus - Remove the lowest 3-4 limbs extending over the greenhouse to the rear of the tree. Reason: Safety. T7; Horse chestnut - Remove. Reason: Heavily decaying and hollowing to lower trunk and root plate, leans towards neighbouring garden.

T4; English Oak - Reduce lower lateral over-extending branches back to suitable growth points up to 2-3m from branch tips; remove downward growing branches to prevent further leveraging. Reason: Lower canopy has become unbalanced and leaning more towards the client's property. By reducing the large lateral limbs and removing downward growth we hope to promote re-balancing and take off some weight to prevent leveraging.
