Partial crown reduction of Silver Birch, reducing side branches to an internodal branch break to leave the tree balanced on all sides. Reasons: a) to avoid damage to nearby building b) To allow more natural light to neighbouring property (171A Moor Lane) and smaller trees and shrubs below the overhang.

    The tree T1 is a Myrabalan Plum sited in the rear at garden at 187 Moor Lane Upminster Essex, formally 189/1 Moor lane Hornchurch. The is approx 4.5 metres high. T appears to be in decline having shed branches with more dead limbs still attached. I suspect this has been the effect of drought like conditions leading to its demise. We requested the tree be felled and removed.

    Tree T1. We would like to remove of this tree. It has has a history of problems and it was part of a group of tree's that have all failed and been removed over the years. Pollarding was granted last year due to its size and the fact that a large part of the tree had broken off due to a fungal bracket. It was reported to me after pollarding that the tree had a large cavity just below the main union , approximate size unknown but and least a depth of 300mm. This was a year ago and I have noticed today that there is a fungal bracket coming out of this cavity, I am concerned that it will break and damage neighbours sheds.
