About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.

In the plan provided we believe T3 is diseased and is causing damage to both properties, we are concerned that limbs may fall off and cause further damage. We'd like it to be inspected and taken down if necessary

We have a weeping birch tree in our garden. We have had it confirmed by two different tree surgeons from two different companies that unfortunately it is dead. The tree has been dead for at least 9 months. We had hoped it might show signs of life in the summer but this has not happened. We would like permission to cut down the tree before it falls down and harms someone or falls into the pond it is beside.
