Proposal
1 x Ash tree – Reduce the overall crown by approximately 20–30%, equating to around 2–3 metres, pruning back to suitable growth points while retaining a balanced and natural canopy shape. Remove any dead, damaged or crossing branches as necessary. All works are to be carried out in accordance with BS 3998:2010 – Tree Work Recommendations. Justification The tree has become excessively large for its position and is significantly restricting natural light into the property. The proposed crown reduction will reduce the overall size and spread of the canopy, improve light penetration and manage the tree at a suitable scale for its location, while retaining its long-term health, structure and amenity value.
