(T1) Birch - Height of tree has been reduced poorly in the last couple of years, leaving several dead stubs. Proposing to reduce height back to appropriate growth points (maximum 1m), predominantly just removing the dead stems and minor reduction to lateral spread, up to 1m. This is to balance shape. (T2) Willow - This has been managed as a pollard. Proposing to repollard back to old reduction points, removing approximately 3m of growth. This is to manage size of tree and prevent failure of branches. (Works to T3 Pear will be considered separately under tree works application ref. HGY/2026/1877, as this tree is protected by a TPO)
