Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Five Day Notice. T1 Chestnut on the boundary of the gardens on 153 Archway Road and 21 Cromwell Avenue. It stands approximately 60Ft tall of which it goes up 12ft then splits into 6 major limbs (of which 2 have failed). It appears they have failed due full leaf loading on the union and some what looks like white rot. There is a picture of a fruiting body that looks old. The picture with white mark shows where it has failed but also the limb I am most concerned about as this is close to the dysfunction area of the collapsed limbs. If this fails this will go straight through 21 Cromwell Avenue. On the other side of the tree there is an equally large limb which has a potential to fail and this limb would hit 153 Archway Road which is the owner of the trees property. Proposed works: to reduce all major limbs by at least 50% as this will stop the loading from the sail in the wind when it's in full leaf.
