Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
We would like to do work on a tree that borders our back garden. We would like to work on two branches, as marked in the picture "Tree". Pictures are taken from our garden. There is a small lower branch, which we would like to cut close to the border (marked in red). There is a larger branch (a bit higher), which we would like to cut as marked (in red) - this branch makes a definite bend and we would like to cut at that corner. The image "Tree_detail" shows the detail of this corner. The branches are very overhanging on our garden patio, impinging on the space. The image "Tree_position" shows the position of the tree in question, within the Alexandra Palace conservation area. Our garden also borders a line of Laurels. We would like to trim the tops of those by 1m. The image "Laurels" shows the Laurels (on the left) and the image "Laurels_position" shows their location, within the Alexandra Palace conservation area. We have consulted a tree surgeon about the works proposed.
