T1 Lime tree Crown thin 30%, remove deadwood The tree is 25m high and the centre of the canopy is very congested. Thinning would improve light to the surrounding gardens and the removal of dead growth (incuding some very substantial dead limbs) would be in the tree's interest as well as the welfare of those using the gardens beneath.

Reducing the crown by approximately 3 meters in height and 1.5 meters laterally will help reduce overall crown weight and wind loading, while maintaining a balanced and proportionate crown.
