Awaiting decision Hammersmith and Fulham P/2026/01487/TREE Works to Tree(s) in Conservation Area

Works: Trees

Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.

Proposal

birch tree, front patio of the communal part of the property - roots appear to be damaging the front tiling, and falling leaves frequently block both the front drains and our gutters. Neighbour at 40 Lakeside Road has raised concerns about the mess the tree causes in her front patio. Branches have also been known to fall onto the pavement. Given these issues, we would like to have the tree removed. As far as we are aware, the tree was planted by a previous tenant and is not owned by the council. We have been advised by the council to make an application (reference number for that correspondence: 5524473)

Felling of a mature, dead Sycamore tree (T21) located on Land to the Rear of 70 North End Road, subject to Tree Preservation Order TPO/23/7/70. Following a recent inspection of the highway it has been noted that the tree is dead, the crown of which has the potential to fall onto the surrounding highway network managed by TfL. To mitigate this it is intended to remove all crown material and leave as a standing monolith. Works to reduce risk of failure and damage to the highway and its users.
