#Rear T1 Magnolia x 1 (Magnolia spp) - 12m mature magnolia was last reduced 4 years ago, it's cyclical prune is now due. The best time to prune this type of magnolia is just after it has finished flowering in late spring/early summer. Suggested work: - crown reduction - reduce all round back to previous reduction points, equating to an all-round reduction of 2-3m, leaving furnishing growth #Rear T2 Camelia x 1 This large camelia is being suppressed by T1. It has grown at a 30 degree angle with most of the growth on the tips. This increases the risk of a major failure on the trunk. Suggested work: - tip reduction to reduce weight on ends and reduce overall sail effect - selectively prune by thinning the outer 2m of the canopy, retaining privacy to the flats behind #Rear G3 Holm Oak (Evergreen) (Quercus ilex) x 4 This group of four holm oaks were planted to replace the screening the ivy provided to the flats at the rear. Following a recent inspection of the highway it has been noted that the tree is dead, the crown of which has the potential to fall onto the surrounding highway network managed by TfL.
