T1 ??? Apple (Malus domestica) Height: approx. 7 m Lateral spread: approx. 6 m Proposed works: Fell to ground level. Justification: The tree is multi-stemmed from approximately 1.2 m with a severely decayed point of union and included bark. Extensive deadwood is present throughout the crown, indicating advanced physiological decline and a significantly increased risk of failure. The tree has been heavily colonised by ivy for a prolonged period, which has obscured defects and contributed to the deterioration of the stem wood, now showing signs of crumbling decay. The tree has outgrown the confines of the garden and results in substantial shading, adversely affecting the usability of the space. It is an ornamental apple tree that does not produce fruit and therefore offers limited functional benefit. Overall amenity value is low, further reduced by the tree not being visible from the public highway. In addition, a boundary fence is required to be installed in accordance with the lease pl... read more

Felling of a mature, dead Sycamore tree (T21) located on Land to the Rear of 70 North End Road, subject to Tree Preservation Order TPO/23/7/70. Following a recent inspection of the highway it has been noted that the tree is dead, the crown of which has the potential to fall onto the surrounding highway network managed by TfL. To mitigate this it is intended to remove all crown material and leave as a standing monolith. Works to reduce risk of failure and damage to the highway and its users.
