Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
Catalpa - REAR Garden - we would like to reduce the crown of the tree by up to 3.5m to historic pruning points. The tree is too large and is causing excessive shading. The tree has been worked on multiple times previously.

Felling of a mature, dead Sycamore tree (T21) located on Land to the Rear of 70 North End Road, subject to Tree Preservation Order TPO/23/7/70. Following a recent inspection of the highway it has been noted that the tree is dead, the crown of which has the potential to fall onto the surrounding highway network managed by TfL. To mitigate this it is intended to remove all crown material and leave as a standing monolith. Works to reduce risk of failure and damage to the highway and its users.
