FELL Eucalyptus - poor specimen currently of medium height which has been pollarded at some point in the past. The tree is too large for the position it occupies . I would like to remove the tree and replace it with a better positioned and sized tree, such as a rowan tree, as part of an extensive re-landscaping project. The tree is also located too close to a boundary wooden fence, which it is damaging. I would like to remove and replace with a sturdier brick and timber wall, more suited for the longer term, which will require concrete foundations. This also forms part of the planned extensive re-landscaping project.

Thin crown by 25%, lateral reduction by 2m and removal of rotten, broken and split branches

Tree species: Quercus Wislizeni 'interior live oak' non-native species. Tree numbers on sketch plan: T1 Description of proposed works: Fell and replace - approx. 6m in height, roots are starting to cause damage to the nearby swimming pool -will grow to over 20m in height, which would be far too dominant and damaging to the area and pool. The shade is also encouraging on my neighbours outdoor seating area. The proposed works are part of a garden redesign to improve light levels, safety, and biodiversity, with replacement planting of more appropriately sized native or ornamental trees considered as part of the long-term landscaping plan.
