Awaiting decision Gedling 2026/0415

Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.

Proposal

The proposal seeks permission for the change of use of the existing building from Use Class B2 (General Industrial) to Use Class E(d) to facilitate the operation of a performing arts and theatre school. The premises will provide classes and activities in dance, drama, musical theatre and related recreational disciplines for children, young people and adults. The building will be occupied throughout much of the week and will be actively managed and maintained. No significant external alterations are proposed. The only external changes comprise the installation of signage above the main entrance and within the existing car park. The proposal will bring the premises into active use, improve the appearance and upkeep of the site, and provide a valuable leisure and community facility for local residents. The development is not expected to adversely affect neighbouring properties and will make use of the existing access and parking arrangements.
